I was just looking through my art and feeling really nostalgic for the characters in my comics. I haven’t worked on my comics in ages. That makes me pretty sad… These illustrations are between one and two years old.

Here’s the next page. I also edited all the previous pages to make them more awesome based on a critique I had. I’ll post those later.
Here’s the next two Spirit Bond Thumbnails. Pretty messy. Making comics is hard. I have a lot to learn. I’m getting there, though.
Seriously. These are messy, icky thumbnails. I should, like…. learn how to make my quick pictures a little prettier. And more legible.
Here’s kind of what I’m thinking. I’m going back to starting the story with Kay and Kaipo like I did back in my first draft. It’s going to be great.
EDIT:
Here’s some new and improved stuff.
Here’s my first comic page done with cell-shading.
Not sure about the dialogue yet. I’m still working on some of the new story-line elements. I knew how I wanted to start this scene, though, which is why I completed this page out of nowhere. Fun!
It’s finals week next week, and then I go to Europe two weeks after that, so may be MIA for while. We’ll see!
Finally! I am so proud of this one. Like, really really. This is what I want to do.
I might be taking Spirit Bond in a new direction after this. I’m sure that will be a good thing.
